My Baby Turns One Today

I can't believe that Rhys turns one today! This year has flown by! I sit here and think about how one year ago today i was in the hospital in labour and thinking this is way too early! A lot of things have happened over this past year and we are truly blessed that Rhys has been so Happy and Healthy!

Family Photos

I stole this from Melina's blog.
She put this on Rhys' birthday gift as a card and i just had to share it! I was actually going to take a photograph of her photos but this is way easier and it shows how truly talented she is!
I had so much fun shooting family photos with her this week. I love all of her candid shots...the one's she always manages to snap and you don't even realize it! Joey is not into having his pic taken so these shots of us just hanging out are perfect for him. Stay tuned I will be scrapbooking lots of them once Melina gets them to us.

First Birthday Party

Melina took this wonderful shot of Rhys eating her own birthday cake!
Rhys' Grandma Cindy bought her a cake to eat herself...it was so much fun watching her gently touch the icing and then diggin right in.
We were going to give her her own piece of cake to eat but this was way more fun!!!!

First Birthday Party

Well today is a big day!
Rhys is having her first birthday party today (shee will be one on Tuesday).
We have 13 friends coming to the party between the ages of 10 months and 4 years so it should be a lot of fun!
I had no idea how much prep goes into a party (and i didn't even make my own cake)!!!
It is so much fun buying decorations, treat bag goodies, picking out a cake, and choosing the perfect outfit to go with her scrapbook pages (hee hee hee).

Pre made birthday layout...#2

I picked up this paper at our scrapbook splurge! We each put in a small item or paper (something we didn't need) and we drew names to see who picked a prize. I was second and picked out this great cosmo cricket paper (thanks Jenn). It matched "Happy Birthday" ribbon I had picked up so i have another page to put a birthday picture on!
I am working ahead as my pictures aren't inspiring me right now.

Family Photos With Melina

We have a photo shoot with Melina this afternoon to take some Family photos by the river. I am so excited that i made these two pages at splurge the other night! I know that we are going to wear brown tones so it was easy to make the pages before the photos!

Here is the halooween Layout I was talking about. I can't post it on the other site so i thought you might be interested. Hope you like this one it was lots of fun to create. I want to dress Rhys up already just to get the photo on it!!

I just love this photo that i took during a recent wedding we attended. Rhys was so tired that she cuddled with daddy during the entire service.



This will be Rhys" 11 month layout for her "watch me grow album". I just have to journal all of her new info for this page!

Saturday night fever...

I am sooooo excited!
I joined a scrapbook splurge and we have our first crop on Saturday night!
I have decided to pick out some photos to scrap and make up kits so that i don't take all of my millions of things with me...easy right...NOT!!
I don't know what pictures I want to crop...what if i get there and they don't inspire me? It has been so long since i scrapbooked away from home i am having troubling deciding what to take! Also we don't meet at a store so if i don't have it i am SOL!!
Oh well...i need to get my garage sale organized for tomorrow now that rhys is off to sleep.

Pre made birthday layouts...

Well I just couldn't resisit! While creating some layouts i just had to pre-make some birthday layouts as i go back to work the day before her birthday. I already have her party outfit picked out and her birthday outfit picked out so it was easy to make these two.

New Pages... as promised

I made these two pages last week, but i didn't pick up my pictures until today!!
I also made 2 birthday layouts as her birthday is fast approaching.
I plan on scrapbooking a few pages this weekend so I will post them again soon!

Home Sweet Home

I am happy to be home! Our month long trip is over and i have sent 212 pics to blacks for printing! Between the minot zoo & Pool, weddings, the lake and my niece brooke, i have a lot of scrapbooking to complete.

I was in the store today and bought some new things! Then I completed 4 pages while Rhys napped. I will pick up the photos tomorrow and stick them to the pages. Watch for the layouts tomorrow.
