Wow....Two posts in one week!!!

This is Brooke's first school picture from her school daycare. I just love the CLoud Nine paper.

This page was inspired by Leica's page using the KI lace paper.

These pictures were taken this summer at the Berry Barn. I was looking through envelopes of pictures and found these ones, I had meant to scrapbook them a long time ago but misplaced them. It was fun to do a layout and use up some scraps and old product. I really need to do this more often.

This layout was made using a transparency that I have had for a long time but just couldn't find the right photo to go on it. After hundreds of trys I finally settled on this 8x10 of Rhys for her first birthday photo shoot.

Scrappin' up a storm

Joey was off yesterday and Rhys had a long nap so i managed to get a lot done. It also helped that i picked up so new photos at blacks. I took advantage of a coupon i received to get 5x7 for the price of a 4x6 (i printed off 86 5x7 photos)!!!!

This is the first time that Rhys touched the grass! I am not sure if she liked it but i just love how the photos turned out. The paper is the new We R Memory Keepers.

I have had this paper for awhile and finally took a picture to work with it (completely backwards i know). The whole bottom paper is only adhered to the sides and bottom so I can stick tags in with journalling. So far i made three journalling blocks.

When we saw this shirt "Me and my peeps" at Old Navy I just had to get it for Rhys! She is only 6 months in the photos. I can't believe how much her hair has grown and how big she is getting!

I took this shot of Brooke in grandview and i could resist making a layout. She is sooooooo cute and just a little messy!

Finally...1, 2 pages done!!!!!!

Well, I finally made a couple of pages! I have been so busy making jewelry and going away that I haven't had time to make any pages!

Here is a page I made of Brooke on the farm....she is such a little farm girl! It is so cute when she calls the horses! Pacey...Joe...Dee.... We had a blast at the farm and can't wait to go back!

I can't beleive that Rhys is 7 months old already!!!! Time is flying by and I don't want to miss a minute! I just love taking pictures of her...she always stares at me with her big eyes when ever the camera comes out!

Farm Life

Out on the farm!
Joey and Rhys checking out the farm.

Brooke going to give Pacey a treat.

Rhys' first experience with a bunny! She pulled out Lola's hair and tugged on her ears.

Brooke tried some chocolate cake and loved it. Sorry about the angle of the photo, i keep changing it and it just goes back!

Well we had a great weekend at my sister-in-laws on the weekend. We enjoyed farm life (and i am a city girl through and through)!! We went for a walk, saw the horses, played with their new rabbit, went to a rummage sale, garage sale, and and auction (all in one day!). We had a blast and i took tons of photos! I can't wait to scrapbook them. I am sending them to Black's today so that I can start making pages really soon!!!

My sis-in-law, Renee, and I scrapbooked on Friday night for awhile. She has only made one small album before (for my shower gift) and it was great! I taught her some new tricks and left her with some of my supplies. I am sure she will do great! She was like a natural when i was helping her!! Unfortunately i forgot to snap some pics of our pages we created.

Baby Brooke

Here is my latest page of Brooke! Once again a wonderful photo by Melina Perron Photography. These photos are old but I just love them and had to scrapbook them!

P.S. I figured out how to cut out the background so hopefully my posts will be better!

Thanks...

First of all i want to say thanks to everyone for visiting my blog! I check it (and every one's) about two to three times a day to post layouts, read messages, see new projects, and what is happening in people's lives. It is a connection that is so amazing...we don't have to see each other to know what is going on. I feel that we have all learned so much about each other through this experience! Thanks to Ralna for starting me on this!

Here are my latest pages of Brooke! I have gone back to simplistic elements (this is what my scrapbooking started with). As much as I love creating extreme pages, i still love a simple, well laid out page with just a few simple touches! and yes..there is only one pic per page (they really were the best ones i had). there is some journalling, but not much ... once it is done i will tuck it behind the pictures.

Brooke

I finally completed another page of Brooke!!!
It must have been the new paper, bling names, and die cut numbers that inspired me...or was it the buttons, robin's nest pebbles, or puff paint?! not exactly sure but when i picked up the latest pictures of her i just knew i needed to create a few new pages.
