Scrappin' up a storm

Joey was off yesterday and Rhys had a long nap so i managed to get a lot done. It also helped that i picked up so new photos at blacks. I took advantage of a coupon i received to get 5x7 for the price of a 4x6 (i printed off 86 5x7 photos)!!!!

This is the first time that Rhys touched the grass! I am not sure if she liked it but i just love how the photos turned out. The paper is the new We R Memory Keepers.

I have had this paper for awhile and finally took a picture to work with it (completely backwards i know). The whole bottom paper is only adhered to the sides and bottom so I can stick tags in with journalling. So far i made three journalling blocks.

When we saw this shirt "Me and my peeps" at Old Navy I just had to get it for Rhys! She is only 6 months in the photos. I can't believe how much her hair has grown and how big she is getting!

I took this shot of Brooke in grandview and i could resist making a layout. She is sooooooo cute and just a little messy!

Birthday Cards

Nothing too fancy, just a couple of cards i whipped up for birthdays or greetings. I had some left over paper and a few minutes so i thought i would make a few cards. I always like to have some around in case i need them and i must admit my stock is pretty low.

No time to scrap....

As summer approaches (and we look for a new house) i find that i have less time to scrapbook. I love to scrapbook but when it is nice outside i always feel silly sitting at the kitchen table and scrapbooking. Here are some recent shots of Rhys. I just love her facial expressions!! I often wonder what it must be like to experience things in the world for the first time...if only i knew what she was thinking!

Sweet Baby Girl

I have decided that motherhood is the best thing that has ever happened to me!!!
I can not remember what life was like for joey and i without rhys! She is our pride and joy and every tiny thing she does amazes me! Today we were at Melina's for Ethan's bday and she sat on the floor watching the kids (this was the longest she has sat up by herself ever), then she leaned up against the couch and visited with one of the little girls. She was full of wonder and so happy. I miss the days when all we did was snuggle and hang out, but i love her personality and all the new things she is starting to discover and enjoy! Babies are such miracles!!!!!!

Birthday party

Okay....so I have Ethan's 3rd birthday party to attend tomorrow night and I was thinking...I should make a birthday card (not buy one). As a scrapbooker I always feel guilty buying cards (I always think that I should make them), but the party I am going to is for Melina's son, Ethan. I think that Melina is the queen of card making so I am feeling a little pressured! Hope she likes it!!!!!!!!

After I made the cared I thought that I would make a layout to match (now I just need a photo). I know that this sounds backwards...make a layout with leftover paper from a card. Don't ask...I never seem to do things the easy way!!!

We're back

Rhys loves to be naked (okay she wears her diaper)...here she is on her playmat just as happy as could be!!

I just knew that my dad would love this shirt i bought for her at old navy! she loves her grandpa and he is very smitten with her too!!

Her teeth were bothering her a lot when we were at home so grnadma made her some apple juice pops for a treat!

Rhys is learning how to sit up! she gets better everyday! here i caught her before she fell to the floor...i need some help to get a photo of this!

Recent Layout

As you know i make a layout for rhys each month and include info on what she is up to know and how she has changed. It is amazing all of the things that she learns and loves each month! This photo was taken while i was folding her laundry. She loves to sit and watch me...what a big girl. I keep telling her that one day this will be her job (i am sure she thinks "yeah right mom!").

I just love the bazzill bling flowers, rhinestones, and tres jolie paper!
