New pages and new thoughts...

I have been scrapbooking our family vacation and had a thought...
Because our girls are so young I have previously been scrapbooking for the art and for joy. I did not have a lot of events or memories that were linked to specific activities (school, fairs, zoo trips, vacation, sports, etc.) that required me to fit a lot of photos on one or two pages...BUT... Rhys is almost two and now we are doing lots of things that I take multiple pictures of (ie. the fair, the zoo, the beach, a first boat ride) and now I want/need to incorporate multiple photos on one page. Now I am scrapbooking memories and doing it for pure joy and excitement. I love theat our life is evolving and that the girls are getting into things so that I can creat memories for them to enjoy for years to come. THis made me become addicted to index prints and smaller photos so that I can have a focal picture and multiple other shots all in one page with not at much clutter.

RHys already loves looking at her books and we talk about the people and places on the pages.what a great hobby this is.

PS SHe helped me make her birthday party invitations tonight (will post pics soon)...look out world I have created another scrapbooker who loves buttons!!!

Ha ha. Welcome to the multi picture scrapbooking. The more I archive my families life with scrapbook pages, the more I realize the importance of scrapbooking for posterity. I love the art of it, but my focus becomes archiving all those special events in our lives. I have 18 4X6 pictures of Christmas 2001 sitting on my desk. I want them all used and I want to do it on two pages!!
