I just love this photo of Rhys. It was the first day she was able to sit up on her own long enough for me to take a picture. She didn't really like the feeling of grass, but enjoyed exploring the world from a new position. This photo was taken after we got home from Ethan's b-day party. she had so much fun she was exhausted!!

elegant...expensive...but i love it!!!
Okay...i love the new Heidi grace paper!!! Actually i love almost all of her paper. It is so unique and so easy to use. This paper is fuzzy!! (some of her paper is embossed or has glitter on it too)
Melina took this photo when Rhys turned 6 months old (which is now 3 months ago..man times flies)..I just love the photo and thought it would go great with this layout! It is a simple layout, but with a photo this great you don't need a lot of extras!
This simple layout was a little expensive though (and i only know the cost because someone asked me to recreate it for them...
Melina Perron photo shoot with cd $200 (a steal of a deal i might add)
Heidi Grace paper $3.25
bling "mother" $2.99
buttons $9.99 (has to order them online because i ran out)
chipboard $12.99 (for the whole package)
puff paint $1.69
Grand total = $230.91
But the memory is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man i love this little girl!!!!!!!!!

Finally...time to scrapbook
You know how sometimes you create a page and it just clicks for you, you love all the aspects and can wait to show it to people??? This was this page for me last night! I really love the new Elsie line of products and couldn't wait to use them. I actually don't have the paper to go with it so i looked in my stash and found this KI paper that matched pretty well. I added some more journalling today.

Ebay
I am learning how to set up an ebay store and thinking about selling a couple of albums on ebay! My girlfriend has sold a couple of albums, as well as individual pages. I have these two albums that are already made up and ready to sell (they are leftover from a craft sale i was in last December) so i thought that i might try and give it a try. These first 3 pages are from an 8x8 school album that i made that goes right from kindergarten to graduation. It is in a black leather album and contains 20 pages. I was hoping to get $60 for it but we will see what happens.
The next three photos are from an 8.5 x 11 family album that i made. It is in a blue album that has a photo opening on the front and says family in silver. This album also contains 20 pages. It was supposed to be for a shower gift but my friend had a girl and so i made a pink album for her instead. This album has mom, dad, sisters, brothers, grandparents, and cousin pages as well as more.

Busy Lives
As I look at every one's blogs and see few recent posts it makes me sad and happy!
"Sad" because i love to look at peoples pages and see what they are up to, but "happy" because i know that people are busy with family, grad, pregnancies, kids, and just pure old summer fun!
I hope to get some scrap pages done this week, but life is pretty busy around here with family, friends, home improvements (we might be selling so we are fixing things up a little), and summer fun! Who knows how much blogging i will get done over summer!
Have a great day everyone!

More Gift Albums!
This is one of the new We R Memory Keepers chipboard albums at JSI! It was so easy to make! I painted it (inside and out) and added a few embellishments to the outside. It will be use as a guestbook at an upcoming retirement tea.
Here is the same album that i painted brown and added a few extra touches. This one is a wedding gift. I thought it was perfect because the page protectors hold 4x6 photos. Since the recipient of this gift is not a scrapbooker I thought they might want to put a few wedding pics in the album rather than a scrapbook.

Gift Album
Last night I completed a 12x12 album for a shower gift. I had given a colleague an album for a gift for her first child and was asked if I would be doing the same for her second child so I had a couple of colleagues go in on the gift with me and I created another album. Funny how I just posted a month ago that I was done with this (ha ha ha). Here are a few of the pages that I created for the album. They are a little less "busy" than most of my layouts. When I make a gift album for someone who doesn't scrapbook, I tend to make more simple pages with a few embellishments.
This page is for "daddy & me" and her brothers.
This page is just for a few cute shots of "Paige"
When I make baby-gift albums I usually include the following pages:
1. Birth Stats (as a title page)
2. 6 to 8 pages for random shots.
3. Mommy & Me page
4. Daddy & Me page
5. Siblings pages (if necessary)
6. Family photo page
7. Grandparents page
8. First--Halloween/fall, Christmas/winter, birthday pages
